Mission
Our mission is to provide 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls that will attend Maine West High School a comprehensive basketball experience, directed by coaches, parents and other community members, that will compete against other feeder organized teams.
We will work with each player to:
- Improve fundamental development
- Improve individual and team player skill sets
- Advance sportsmanship and teamwork in a fun, competitive environment
Purpose
Maine West Girls Feeder exists to develop, motivate, and inspire girls to reach their highest potential as a person and a basketball player. Our goal is to have girls exit the program with enhanced basketball skills that will allow them to be contributing teammates on Maine West High School Girls Basketball team, promoting character-building, academic success, and healthy lifestyles.
Through routine practice, health and fitness, training and team group sessions, the players will build their capacities as a team. We will develop a highly competitive basketball program whose focal point of instruction is sportsmanship and character.
